The idea behind Open Mobile Talk came about in July 2009. Mobile George and friends were hosting Nokia Mobile Talk and wanted a site that would be open to news and analysis of several leading mobile operating systems:
- Blackberry
- Symbian
- Android
- Iphone
- Palm Pre
The concept was to combine a news repository with a platform for podcasts where users of various mobile devices could exchange ideas and experiences.
Open Mobile Talk will cover products announcements, reviews, and mobile industry news. The podcasts allow for the anecdotes, observations, and analysis of the entire staff.
